Who: Kathy Kelly is an extraordinary person, with a worldwide following. Founder and coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence, Kathy has twice been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize due to her courageous work building bridges between peoples of warring nations. Her talk will focus on lessons learned in Central and South America, the Middle East, and Central Asia, particularly through her recent involvement with the Afghan Peace Volunteers and their Street Children’s School. Kathy has both the stories and the statistics, the spirit and the courage, to kick-start real social change. Come meet this exemplary individual and support nonviolent peace and justice efforts.
